Privacy policy

The short version

Magnet Lab has no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email or location. Your progress stays on your phone. We collect anonymous gameplay stats, the store keeps a record of what you buy, and Google AdMob shows the ads.

Gameplay stats

The game sends us events such as a level started or won, how many stars and moves it took, which screen is open and which kitten you picked, along with the platform and app version. They are tagged with a random ID the game makes when it first runs. We don't collect your device ID or advertising ID. The stats go to our own server on Cloudflare, and we use them only to see which levels are too hard and what to make next. Uninstalling the game deletes the random ID, and the stats already sent can't be tied back to you.

Purchases

Apple or Google takes the payment, so we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check purchases and restore them. RevenueCat stores an anonymous ID for your copy of the game, the items you bought, and the store receipts for them. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Ads

You can watch a video ad for more hints, and once you're past the first world a short ad sometimes plays between levels. The No Ads purchase turns off the ads between levels. Ads come from Google AdMob, which collects information about your device, its IP address and how you interact with the ad, to serve the ad and measure it. On Android this can include your advertising ID. The game never asks to track you on iPhone, so AdMob doesn't get your iPhone's advertising ID. Where the law requires it, for example in the EU and UK, Google asks for your consent before showing an ad. RevenueCat also receives a record of each ad shown and what it earned. Children

Magnet Lab is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can play without watching ads or buying anything. To limit ad personalization, reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings. For anything else, including questions about this policy, email privacy@keronlabs.com.
