The agreement

By using Bible Stories you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which covers your licence to use the app. Where the two differ, these terms apply to the extent the Apple EULA allows. Our privacy policy explains what the app collects. You need to be at least 13 to use the app.

Subscriptions

A few episodes are free, and others can be unlocked by watching an ad, up to a daily limit. A subscription gives you every episode, no ads, and downloads for offline viewing in the app. The price and billing period are shown before you buy, and payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings, under your name and then Subscriptions, or from Manage subscription in the app's Me tab. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the period you've paid for ends. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

We may change prices, which episodes are free, or how many ad unlocks a day are offered. A price change for an existing subscription follows Apple's rules, including asking for your consent where they require it.

The content

The Bible text in the app is the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. Where an episode has Jesus speak, his words are quoted from it. The rest of an episode is our retelling: the narration around those words, the scenes and the explanations. The illustrations, animation and voices are made with AI. They are an artistic interpretation, they don't show what any real person or place looked or sounded like, and they can get details wrong. When it matters, read the passage itself in the Bible tab. If something looks wrong, email support@keronlabs.com and tell us the episode.

The episodes, artwork, narration and app are owned by Keron Labs. The Berean Standard Bible text is not ours and we don't claim it.

Acceptable use

The app is for your own personal, non-commercial use. You can share episodes and verses with the share buttons in the app. Please don't record, copy, re-upload or sell episodes or downloads; get around the daily limits, the ad checks or the subscription; or scrape, overload or reverse engineer the app or its server. We may suspend access for any of these.

Not advice

Bible Stories is for reflection and doesn't speak for any church or denomination. Nothing in it is pastoral, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Topics like anxiety, grief or conflict at home point you to passages about them; they aren't a substitute for a pastor, counsellor or doctor who knows your situation. The app offers no crisis support. If you're struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a local support service.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise it will always load, download or play, that an ad will be available, or that every retelling and picture is accurate. We may add, change or remove episodes and features, and release new episodes on our own schedule. To the extent the law allows, Keron Labs isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Apple

These terms are between you and Keron Labs, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no duty to support it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and using the app afterwards means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
